BOLOGNA  WINTER  SCHOOL  2005

HOW COMPLEX IS FUNCTIONAL GENOMICS ?

13-19  February  2005
Bologna - Italy

The Bologna 6th winter school is a unique international forum where to debate the state of the art of complex problems at the forehand of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Functional genomics covers several aspects of both experimental and theoretical research in that its goal is to model living functions with a bottom up approach, starting from genes and proteins, interacting in the cell. The aim of the school is to highlight those aspects of the problem that make functional genomics a unique field where to investigate the meaning of complexity in biological systems in relation to general modelling procedures and their application. The school is suggested to all the people interested in having both broad and advanced perspectives in this emerging field.
